Shotaro Ishinomori1938~1998 石ノ森章太郎

Shotaro Ishinomori (January 25, 1938 - January 28, 1998) was a Japanese manga artist born in Ishinomori, Tome District, Miyagi Prefecture. He debuted in 1954 with "Nikkyu Tenshi" and became one of the most prolific and influential manga creators in history. His major works include Cyborg 009, the Kamen Rider series, and the Super Sentai series (later adapted as Power Rangers). In 1989, he proclaimed his concept of "manga" to express the boundless possibilities of the medium. His posthumous complete works collection of 770 titles across 500 volumes was recognized by Guinness World Records.
