Teisuke Narita1938~ 成田禎介

Teisuke Narita (born 1938 in Tokyo) is a Japanese Western-style landscape painter. He first exhibited at the Shigenkai Exhibition in 1967 and was first selected for the inaugural reorganized Nitten exhibition in 1969, followed by his first solo show at Fuji Television Gallery in 1970. He won the Special Selection prize at Nitten in 1982 and 1989, was elected a member of Nitten in 1994, and has shown regularly at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi and other major venues. He is best known for serene, lyrical landscapes drawn from his travels throughout Japan and abroad. In addition to his activities with the Shigenkai and Nitten, he serves as vice-chair of the Sagamihara Artists Association.
