Yukimasa Ida1990~ 井田幸昌

Yukimasa Ida (born February 18, 1990) is a Japanese painter and contemporary artist from Tottori Prefecture. Influenced by his father, sculptor Masatsugu Ida, he began seriously pursuing oil painting at age 16. He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in Oil Painting in 2016 and completed his master's degree there in 2019. Working between abstraction and realism, his practice centers on the Japanese philosophy of "ichi-go ichi-e" (once-in-a-lifetime encounter), with his "Portrait" series as a primary focus. In 2021, his work was placed aboard the International Space Station during Yusaku Maezawa's private space mission, and in 2022 he held a solo exhibition at the Picasso Birthplace Museum in Malaga, Spain.
